About The Author
What do you call a published Author, Speaker, Teacher, Caterer and Event Planner, International Interior Designer, award winning Home Stager, columnist, and Real Estate expert? The term Lifestyle Expert fits. And I guess you could call her a party girl as well! Chris Cooper has been planning amazing parties and events for years and is excited to share her experience and systems in her recently released book “Secrets of Stress Free Entertaining.” While teaching the class this book is based on over the last four years, Chris found that many of her students considered the concept of stress free entertaining to be an oxymoron. Their immediate response on planning a party was anxiety, dread, and perhaps even panic? This book is written for that person. It will explain the creative process of event planning with detailed checklists, time management techniques, templates, and systems that will make the process easy in planning unique and memorable parties that will impress, delight, and surprise your guests. Through her years of experience as Owner of Cooper’s Catering, Chris is uniquely qualified to bring her enthusiasm and common-sense systems for any size event.
Lifestyle Expert
Chris has a diverse background that qualifies her as an expert in several creative fields. After earning a degree in Interior Design, Chris channeled her creativity into her successful catering business. After obtaining her real estate license, Chris brought those same leadership and event planning skills to her many successful Real Estate Listings with unique marketing techniques and promotions, which she communicated to her many students as Vice President and Director of Training at Prudential Real Estate.
Speaker
Chris then transitioned and was a pioneer in the Home Staging Industry. Her business, Stagers, quickly grew and became the largest Home Staging company on the West Coast. Chris personally staged over 3000 homes and was recognized as Professional Home Stager of the Year. She was the creator of most of the original art for her staging projects, marketed and sold under the name of Cat the Artist. Her original art made for unique and memorable interiors that photographed beautifully and sold quickly, often over list price.
Chris was a guest lecturer at Stanford University for 5 years on the subject of Staging and Presentation of properties for increased equity realization in both residential and commercial properties. She has also been a speaker at Real Estate Conventions, at Real Estate Staging Association conventions, and is certified to teach Continuing Education units for Real Estate agents in the State of Florida. She continues to teach two classes at The Enrichment Academy in Central Florida on Entertaining Stress Free and another class teaching Interior Design. She is also a columnist for the Villages Neighbors Magazine.
